PVC vs TPU vs EVA: Which Film Fits Your Product Line?

Buyers often ask us which film grade fits their product line. Here is a quick comparison based on what we produce daily in our Yiwu factory.

PVC film: the cost-effective workhorse

Our PVC film rolls run from 0.06 to 5.0 mm thick and up to 1.8 m wide, with hardness from 22 to 78 PHR (higher = softer). It silk-screen prints beautifully, welds with high-frequency machines and sews cleanly – which is why handbag, stationery and packaging factories buy most of it. Standards: EN71 low-tox as standard; ROHS, phthalate-free and REACH options available.

TPU film: clarity, elasticity and durability

TPU transparent and super-clear films (0.05 – 2.0 mm, 85A – 95A) stretch, resist abrasion and stay waterproof. Choose TPU for shoe uppers and air cushions, phone cases, watch straps, waterproof bags and technical parts like bushings and gaskets.

EVA / PEVA film: eco-friendly and versatile

Eco-friendly EVA/PEVA colored films (0.15 – 1.0 mm) offer excellent transparency and flexibility for cosmetic bags, shopping bags, file folders, medical surgical gowns and pharmaceutical packaging.
